A decade's worth of rich history and goodwill with the public schools surrounding us plus an extensive community consultation process prepared us for growth
St. Joyuna Academy was established in 2002 with an appropriate population of 1 pupil. Over the years the institution has grown by leaps and bounds and opened its doors to not only admitting Kenyan students but also international students. At St. Joyuna, it’s our intention that our pupils receive all the things one can expect from a primary education: the chance to explore and discover new things about the world and themselves, the possibility to realize their potential, attain their goals and develop skills knowledge and attitude necessary for lifelong learning
The schools started as a one building institution – currently the Pre-school Block. In 2022, we constructed our Upper Primary block.
At St. Joyuna we;

The school sponsor clubs and societies that provide learners with a chance to discover and develop
their talents. This after class program includes drama, music, scouting, sports and games, swimming and football.
The school participates in competitions at cluster level and has won trophies in the past.
The school hires and retains quality teachers and non-teaching staff.
It maintains manageable number of pupils per class enhancing child centered teaching.
Spiritual Growth;
St. Joyuna Academy is guided by strong christian principles under which it was founded.
In its effort to achieve its core objective ,the school through "Christian Union" provides learners with moral and spiritual guidance.
"So shall the knowledge of wisdom be unto thy soul: when thou hast found it, then there shall be a reward, and thy expectation shall not be cut off."
